Hi, I'm El, better known online as 2BAB. I'm an engineering leader and hands-on builder based in Singapore. My work spans AI agents, GenUI, developer tooling, SDKs, and mobile infrastructure.
Over the past ten years, I've built developer tools and cross-platform SDKs, led an engineering team across several AI products, and worked on LLM evaluation and AI-assisted prototyping. BinaryTape is the home for my selected consulting work and independent products.
Beyond product work, I write technical books, build open-source tools, host Binary Radio, and speak in English and Mandarin across APAC. I'm a Google Developer Expert, and my books include Extending Android Builds, Kotlin-oriented Gradle Essentials, and GenUI Field Notes.
